Welcome

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

I welcome you to Athens, which will host another OTC (Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care) Hellas Course on the subject: CURRENT PRINCIPLES OF INTRAMEDULLARY NAILING

The Course will take place on February 18 and 19, 2022 at the ATTC (Anatomy Techniques and Training Center) in Maroussi. Our goal is a creative two-day conference where young colleagues will be trained extensively in intramedullary nailing technique.

The last two years with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to the cancellation of scheduled Courses of OTC Hellas. Thus, it was considered appropriate for the restart to emphasize the basic and current principles of intramedullary nailing to follow the next Course that will include the difficult and extended applications of the method.

Honor guest to this Course will be Dr Gilbert Taglang from Strasbourg. The knowledge and the experience of specialized colleagues from both Greece and the rest of Europe will provide an opportunity to discuss and clarify issues related to the proper application of the method in the treatment of bone injuries. The scientific program also includes interactive analysis and discussion of difficult cases related with intramedullary nailing.

The active participation of all will be a motivation to organize similar training events in the future. I look forward to see you at this Course.

With my best greetings,
